The Swiss Re Tower, Norman Foster
Not really knowing much about the theories of architecture, i viewed this section of my research from an artists/ graphic designers point of view. hence i thought very little or practicality, but hey, thats not in my interests. i chose to look at this architect and his building simple because of the shape and my curiosity for its form and construction. the pattern on the outside surface of the building gives the impression that the floors within would be on a slant. however this would obviously be impractical hence impossible. this is one of my reason for choosing to look into his work, because he makes the practical and possible look impossible and creates an interesting visual illusion.
